ADDRESSES

The components of a city address are:

HouseNumber StreetName StreetType Quadrant

HouseNumber is a number containing the digits 0-9 but cannot start with a 0.
StreetName is the name of the street and can be a combination of letters, numbers, and spaces but must start with a letter. See the HIGHWAYS section below for a list of highway names that can be used as a street name.
StreetType is a suffix added to the street name that distinguishes it from other streets with the same name. When entering a search, you can use the street type or its abbreviation. Examples are Street, St, Drive, Dr, Road, Rd.
Quadrant is the quadrant in which the address is located. The city is divided into the quadrants NW, NE, SE, and SW.

Addresses with a unit number will have two additonal components:

Unit UnitNumber

Unit is the word UNIT. When entering a search, Apartment, Apt, Suite, etc. can be used.
UnitNumber is the unit number of the address and is typically assigned by the property owner. Unit numbers can contain letters, numbers, dashes, etc.

Note: When entering an address to search, the house number and street name are the only components that are required. The other components can be used to narrow your search. For example, you can enter 308 Fountain as your search instead of 308 Fountain Cir SW.
